Hi Kathy, I really love the mood and painterly effect you have created here. It is fascinating to me to see your source photos and wonder how you got here from there. It seems you must've had a vision or inspiration when you sat down to edit these photos that was completely separate than what you saw/captured. I really admire your ability to push until you shared what you imagined. It reminds me of the children's books with photo illustrations by Nancy Tillman. You created an inspiring composite that is not an obvious solution from the original, Kathy. Kudos! |

Wow, Nancy! It seems this would be an incredible subject to discover. There is so much to see... And so many questions! Your technique did a great job of bringing color saturation to this image and I feel it was a good choice to match the interest, quirkiness and surreal character of this scene. |
