54 Oct 17 Reply Thanks, Betty, I hadn't considered the angle of the curve being counter to his flight path. I was thinking of lift as one of the aspects of flight, but I see what you mean. I think I could get rid of it without changing the basic idea of the image. Oct 18th
54 Oct 17 Comment Thanks for the kind words, Peggy. Oct 11th
54 Oct 17 Comment Great concept, and as Peggy said, I hope the money gets the most. The extraction of the monkey from his original image had a bit too much halo, so I tried another extraction using Topaz ReMask to see if I could get rid of some the fringe. You can try it or not to see if he blends a bit more.

54 Oct 17 Comment What a wonderful image, Phillipa. Everything is nicely blended. I like how you can see the rope through his glasses. The one suggestion I would make is to lower the opacity of the cracked earth over the saddlebag a bit. The bag has some nice texture in and of itself that gets lost in the dark lines of the cracked earth. Oct 9th
54 Oct 17 Comment Generally I like the story and the concept you are trying to capture. I agree with the other comments, Avoo. Part of what makes the image feel flat is there are no shadows. If you look at the young boy, there is a shadow under his cap, but there is no corresponding shadow on his feet. He feels like he is floating. The line between out-of-focus and in-focus from the "fog" would look much more realistic if you could feather it. Oct 9th
54 Oct 17 Comment What fun, Peggy. It is an interesting image that shows off your creativity. Nice job on blending the images and working the lighting to make it all come together. Oct 9th
