54 Aug 17 Reply Thank you for the wonderful words. I hadn't thought of the angle of the flower being sinister. Himalayan poppies tend to bow their heads. This might be a place where flipping the original so the diagonal is going up instead of down might make a positive impact. Certainly brightening the background would help. Aug 12th
54 Aug 17 Reply Thanks, Aavo. I hadn't thought of the piece as being surreal. Aug 7th
54 Aug 17 Comment This is a fun concept. I've only been to Park City in the winter, and I don't think this is a game that is played in December. I think I agree with Phillipa that you could get rid of the flags, but they also tell a story about your ladies being out of bounds. I feel the thing that needs work is the lighting on the various models. They need to have the same color balance. You might try a color look-up table on top of the stack to see if that would pull the colors together. Also, it looks like the model sitting on the grass has been run through a painting program, and if so, you might try running the entire image through something like Topaz Impression or try the filter gallery in Photoshop. Perhaps something like this. Aug 6th
54 Aug 17 Comment Wow, what a great job of blending the images together. I agree with Peggy's comments, but I think you could use one bird vs. two. Overall it feels like a single composition. The grey misty background is a nice touch.

54 Aug 17 Comment Congratulations on being a great grandmother to be. I love the capture of a wonderfully happy granddaughter. The pose with the fabric blowing in the wind is beautiful. I really like the texture in the sky, but I agree with Peggy about the watercolor drips. Perhaps dropping the opacity a bit on them would make them less distracting. Overall a beautiful image. 54 Aug 17 Comment It looks like you had fun making the image. Obviously your model was having a great time. I like how you came up with the background. I think I agree with your comment about making the fighters look a bit "cut out", but I like the feel of what you did. The one area I might have spent a bit more time on was the flames on the right. They get cut off with a sharp edge. A fun image all around. Aug 5th
