Renee, thank you for taking the time to show another version of this image. I think your suggestions are spot on for both contrast and cropping. I definitely knew the figure added to the image but I could not figure out the way of making him come alive. Thanks! |

I am in agreement that the original image is stronger than your edited image for several reasons. I like the coloring of the steel structure in the original. I think the orange of the steel and the straw color of the grass play off of each other well. I also think the the background slight blur helps makes the image clearly about the structure which is also supported by the composition of the original. I agree, iPhones take amazing photos! |

The clarity of this image taken from the 7th floor of your hotel is amazing. The diagonal lines made by the boats gives allows our eyes to easily move from one side of the image to another. You have done a great job of brightening the colors in post processing. The image gives us a great sense of the event. |

Great capture! You were definitely in the right place at the right moment. Great job in getting all faces as sharp as possible. I am wondering if you might consider adding to the drama by turning image into a black and white and using selective coloring to tell your story while eliminating all other distractions. |

Charles, bravo! This is a beautiful image mainly due to your processing skills. I very rarely use a white vignette mainly because i find the contrast harsh but you have shown me the power of this type of vignette. The pose is great. Her downcast eyes add to the mystery and beauty of the image. |

Renee, this is a strong and powerful image in every way! The texture, the range of tones, the way the leading lines take us from one part of the image to another. The original is a good image but your processing makes this an outstanding image. Good for you! |
