Beautiful image in contrast of color, composition and clarity. For me, her flesh coloring and the flowers are a bit too green. I do think that there is a second image here that is very evident in your original, the vastness or the land that surrounds her in the original and the shape of the trail. It could be accentuated and rounded a bit to symbolized the circle of life she is about to enter. In that case, I would keep the greens more muted like the original. |

Joan, great composition. Leading lines and bird are well placed and interesting. I also feel that your version is flat. Beyond overall contrast, I would suggest that you go in and darken/ lighten some of the trees in the background to add interest. |

WOW, this is a great capture! I is amazing how clearly we can see both chicks. Fairly sharp for the hidden place they are in. I do like the coloring in the leaves of the original better since it is more muted and competes less with the color on the birds. I also feel that including a bit more of the nest at the bottom and a bit less of the tree at the top would give us a better sense of how ingenious these birds are in the construction abilities. |

Thank you Darlene! Now that I am looking at the photo again, I do see a green cast across the chest. Not sure if was my adjustments that put it there or a reflection of the grass he was sitting on. I did NOT use the Refine tool because I have no idea where it is. Can you tell me where I can find it? Someone in my camera club also mentioned it last night but again, I had not heard of it before this. Please let me know where it is and how I can get to it. I know it would be very helpful to me in the future. |

Darlene, I LOVE this image!!! It is technically spot on in composition but what takes this image to the next level, is your chose of coloring and the moodiness of the image. WOW, great pre and post choices. |

Renee, GREAT image! I love the mirror of the tree and reflection in the pond. The colors are within each tree give them a textured look. Trees are sharp and well placed. My only suggestion would be to add a two pixel boarder so we can see the dimensions of the image. I am thinking that it would show this to me a panoramic, which is perfect for what you have captured. |

Walter, great bird in flight image! Your background is perfect for allowing the bird to pop. The position and depth of field allowed you to capture lots of details in the wings however the underside of the body is blown out and does not allow us to see the details in these feathers. I am wondering if lowering the ISO would have helped even if it looked to dark in your finder. |
