I am never sure of how soft an image like this should be. I think if I decide to print a large version, I will print smaller versions, one with more focused and one as I have here to help me decide which would be best. Thanks! |

Joan, the expression on gorilla's face tells the story. The image is clear, sharp and the crop is well done. For me, the background fights the gorilla's coarse texture which is on of his best features. In your original, he stands out from his surroundings. In the monochrome he looses ability to stand out and just becomes another element of gray. Not sure what would take this image to the next level in the monochrome version. |

Beautiful capture. Sharp, great color and interesting lines including the reflection. Thank you for sharing the egg laying process with us. It makes the image all the more meaningful. |

Renee, you really nailed the action in this shot. I think the light traces from the moving cars are spot on and adds to the interest of the image. For me, the only distraction is pole that goes right down to the bottom of the image. I played around with cloning the bottom our and adding a vignette to help us center on the action. Well done for a first attempt. |

Darlene, great image! Your post processing made this image. The "squiggles" look electric currents are running from one palm leaf to another. Your use of a vignette insured that our eyes are held to the main event. This image is a WOW for me! |

Mohanan, what a wonderful capture! The colors, and the joy of the action make this a great image. I think I would eliminate the last boy on the right, since he is quite blurry and not interacting with the group. I would replace him with Content Awareness to include waterfall. I also feel that the sense of length of the waterfall in the original would make a spectacular panorama. |
