Darlene, this is an outstanding image! The cropping and handling of the post processing really brings it to life. I think the title should be "Three Old Crones". They have survived beyond all odds... |

Renee, great capture of the markings and the details of the feathers of this bird. Blurring the background does help us focus on the bird. A slight turn of the head would have added to the image. I do believe that you did include the eye with catchlight but the angle the lack of contrast in the face area does not allow it to be easily seen. These guys are quick....definitely hard to shoot. |

Good try Walter! Photographing these old cars in a museum setting is very tricky with the lighting and close proximity of other cars. I played with it a bit but suggest that you definitely go back and try this type of image again. It is a great place to shoot in the summer's heat. |

WOW, what in impactful action shot! I agree with Darlene, the power of this image is the beautiful setting which you have cropped out in your post processing. It provides you with a natural vignette that keeps us captivated by the setting and the riders. |

Yes, I do have other shots that may provide my detail in the leaves. I definitely try to see how they compare to this image. Thanks for the suggestion. |

Yes, I did take the image in the black & white mode. I have not done a ton of photography with the iphone, so I like to experiment to see what is possible. |

What a wonderful capture. The Koala is sharp and the lighting is lovely. The fact that you captured him eating makes the image much stronger. I am not sure if the brown V shaped branch could or should be adjusted. Perhaps eliminating the lower branch would help. Also, you may want to consider adding a vignette. Once again, GREAT PHOTO! |
