Joan, this image brings back so many memories of this wonderful attraction! I think you handled the processing perfectly. What is your secret for getting so many skiers so sharp? |

WOW, great action shot! Good post processing of color and brightness. I agree with lightening the face just a bit. I feel that you may have a better image if you do not crop. In your original, which includes more trees, gives a better sense of the hight of this jump. |

Renee, I have heard of focus stacking but have no understanding of how it is done. Do you have a source you like that can dive me some step-by-step direction? |

The colors and details on this image are outstanding. I am wondering since so many have commented on the second rider, if you might consider eliminating him altogether. No sure how important the second rider is to the story you are telling but this might give you an idea of how it would look without him. |

Darlene, what a GREAT image! Truly your title tells it all. We, in our human creative minds would never attempt to use such a diverse color palette. I think you handled to post processing right on. Your choice of vignetting works very well. |

Darlene, I wondered if I should remove it too. The reason why I decided to leave it and add other bits of grass is that I thought having the tortoise "doing something" would add to the image. In looking at it again, it is definitely too bright a green. I will try to mute the green before deciding to eliminate it completely. Thanks for your suggestion. |

Walter, what a BEAUTIFUL location to photograph. I think if I were you, I would be there every day shooting landscape, macro, small groups of flowers... Possibilities are endless. I do like the coloring better in the original and would definitely play around with the crop. |
