Walter, WOW what an image! I think as the maker, it is your choice as to what you want the viewer to see and feel when the look at this image. It is definitely surreal...but to me that is a good thing. |

I do think you did a wonderful job of getting colors etc. in post processing however I think your original image, including the surroundings really gets at the heart of the story. From the original I get the feeling that I am just a short distance from the square and spying on all that is taking place through a telescope. |

Joan, I love that you converted to a portrait mode. It takes us right to the main characters of the story. I agree with eliminating the two straggler hanging branches. I feel that the sky and the water are much more powerful in your original image. The layers of colors in both sky and reflection really can take this image to another level, in my opinion. |

Renee, I think this is a great exercise in creativity! Maybe consider making the out of focus jar part of the all over composition by converting it to a black and white. In this version the two reds are not competing for our attention. |

Bogdan, this is a beautiful image. The color, lines all over composition really work. I think this proves that 15 minutes of good lighting yields much better images than hours and hours of poor lighting conditions. Your post processing of the sky definitely adds to the feel of the image. |

Darlene, you definitely achieved the dramatic look! This is an image I can look at for hours and find lots of stories hidden. The black & white adds to the drama. I like contrast of the sharp trees and the soft look of the water. The cropping is spot on. Great image! Thanks for sharing. |
