16 Dec 22 Comment Bogdan, this is a spectacular image. You make us long to find this place and to bask in its simple beauty. I agree with Joan that lightning the very dark trees in the lower right would give the image more balance. Otherwise, your post processing is spot on. Dec 28th
16 Dec 22 Comment Darlene, this is a great image! Going with B&W was the perfect way to allow us to focus on your Tenacious Little Tree. I am wondering if you might consider softening the clouds to help us focus on the tree and it's position on top of the jagged mountain cliff. In your original the sky was much softer. This is what it might look like if you keep the sky softer. Dec 28th
16 Dec 22 Comment Water, beyond a doubt, this is your best image of this year. You managed to get the perfect contrast between the sky and the pelican. The space you left in front of the bird is perfect for allowing us to image where he is going. The image is sharp, clear, and captures all the details to make us feel like we are flying beside him. 16 Dec 22 Comment Joan, love, love, love these old cars. They offer such character. I like your crop. I always struggle with what to focus on when I take images like this. I am wondering if you might consider punching it up to eke out even more of the beautiful rust. In the version I am including, I used Nic software and a square crop. What do you think? Dec 28th
16 Dec 22 Comment Renee, your lighting and capture of the tree and fireworks bust are wonderful! The lamppost, as the others have suggested, just distracts from an otherwise lovely image. I think Mohanan's version really works. Dec 10th
