16 Nov 21 Comment Water, this is a great capture! I would suggest bringing down the highlights a bit, cropping to eliminate distractions at the top and adding a vignette. It is amazing that you were able to capture this with a hand-held camera. Nov 17th
16 Nov 21 Comment What a beautiful story this image tells. The grace and formation tell us a lot about these birds. I am wondering if trying to tone down the blue in the birds might enhance the image. I played around with Nic and this is what I came up with. This may be taking out too much of the blue but it may give you some ideas. Nov 17th
16 Nov 21 Comment Kathleen, what a GREAT image. The color story and drama you created in post-processing are very effective. It is interesting that the sky in your processed version actually looks like snow covered trees. The painterly effect was definitely the way to go with this image. Nov 17th
16 Nov 21 Comment Bud, this is an OUTSTANDING image! The subjects, the sharpness of the animals and the all over coloring really work together to tell the story. My only suggestion would be to eliminate the shiny white spot in the upper left next to the house. Well seen and well post processed. Nov 10th
16 Nov 21 Comment Lovely image! The challenge with these orchids is focus, which you handled very well. I like to way you included the stem, it prevents the flower from just appearing to float in the air. There is a tiny black dot on the top right petal that you may want to use the healing brush on.
