Thanks Kathleen. I have been searching for the owner for the past month but have not come across her as yet. Will continue and hopefully will recognize both her and Rosie. |

Thanks! I do like the way your adjustment brought out the dog's coat. I think I will try to select the dog and use the level adjustment and keep the background more blurred. |

Bogdan, how beautiful! I will need to add this location to my life list. It will make a wonderful calendar page. I think you handled the color of the Saffron well. I wondered if you might have been able to get a bit more color from the mountains. I experimented in Photoshop just selecting the sky and adjusting the tone which may be a better match for the saturation of the flowers. I also cropped slightly differently. |

What an interesting little creature! Colors of the caterpillar are well handled as well as the yellows of the flower. I am wondering is this image may work better as a square with a vignette. |

WOW! Kathleen you definitely caught this rider at the peak moment of action. I like the color saturation of the original better than the edited. Just a few minor suggestions you may want to consider: cloning out the hat directly behind the steer & rider; straightening a bit; further cropping and adding a vignette. This would make a wonderful print... Well done! |

Joan, this is a great example of how it is all about the light. I think your editing of the fisherman is spot on but like the additional vibrance of the sky in your original. I also like that the un-cropped version shows more of the fishing rod. I think the additional rod better tells his story. |

I agree that the color image is better however I think that your black and white version allows us to ask the question: What makes a monochrome image work?
I am wondering if it is not the fact that your edited image looks flat compared to the color version. I attempted to remedy that in with adding texture and contrast. I know my version is far from resolving this issue but wonder if others might have a suggestion. |
