Kathleen, love the fact that this little guy, like many of us, is hanging on for dear life! I do think the shadow adjustments suggested really enhance this image. I could not help resist changing the clop and blurring the background a bit. To me, it helps give us some perspective on the size/ elements of the world he is dealing with. |

What a WONDERFUL image Bud! It checks all the boxes. Great angle, great composition, incredible sky, post processing is spot on. Thanks for sharing! |

Joan, I have been to Laurel Falls a number of times and this is a GREAT capture. The milkiness of the water really sells it. The color of the leaves really help tell the story. I do however like your original un-cropped version. I think the addition of the upper fall on the left adds dimension to the image. WOW.... this is a BEAUTY! |

Walter, what a GREAT image! The texture of the feathers, sharpness of the eyes, unique stance make this image outstanding. I think your treatment of the background really allows the bird to pop. |

Thanks Joan! I was unaware that this could be done in Silver Efex too. It was a surprise to me when rotating through the choices, I came across it.

Thanks Bud! The image is of my grandson. I am having it printed on a canvas for my son and daughter-in-law. I like to try to capture a look that they would not have within their day to day photos. |
