16 Jan 21 Comment Walter, I do love the effect you used on this image. It does indeed look like a beautiful painting. The colors and grace of the birds add to effect you achieved. I think the two birds along with the look and texture of the background would be better if it was simplified. I am wondering if choosing one bird and placing it in a portrait layout would tell a more powerful story. Jan 11th
16 Jan 21 Comment Joan, lovely, lovely, lovely image. I do like the way you handled the post processing. It is soft, whimsical and fun all at the same time. I do agree with editing out the thin stick since it does not add to the look of the image. Jan 11th
16 Jan 21 Reply Joan, I think you are absolutely right about leaving the green trees in the background. They definitely would have added a separation between the helmets and the background. I will need to try editing this again... Thanks! Jan 9th

16 Jan 21 Comment This is an INCREDIBLE image! The color and the texture take it over the top. Your editing is spot on however I think it would prefer this as a landscape image removing a bit from the top. A landscape view would allow us to see more of the snow texture and better frame the sheep. It sounds like the trip of a life time. Thanks for sharing the story with us. Jan 9th
16 Jan 21 Comment This image definitely is telling a story. I can not help but wonder what the soul person on this beach is thinking about at the moment the image was shot. I think your choice of cropping works well. I also think the hut adds to the story. The textures throughout the image are wonderful however I feel that the colors are a bit too saturated. Jan 9th
