16 Aug 20 Comment Thanks Kathleen..... I agree...but I just saw something in it that spoke to me. I tried lots of "editing" before I achieved this.... Aug 20th
16 Aug 20 Comment Joan, what a GREAT image! I especially love the mood of the water water colors and how it reflects the stilts and the house. The only part of the image I would consider adjusting is the sky. The sky in the original images seems to have much more drama than your adjusted image. I also like the additional water space on the sides in the original. To me, the additional space helps me sense that this building is IN the WATER.... isolated and magical. Thanks for sharing. 16 Aug 20 Comment This is a magnificent image, thanks for sharing it with us. Maybe we can all travel to see it in person one day..... Aug 8th
16 Aug 20 Comment Walter, what an exciting catch! This is a very special image and one that is also in many ways challenging. I have taken the liberty to take it into Luminar and only made simple color adjustments without hopefully will still qualify for your club's nature category. Thanks for sharing! Aug 8th
16 Aug 20 Reply Thank you Larry! I appreciate your positive comments. I thought you did a great job judging. You have the ability to both appraise and instruct in a way that is both respectful and informative. It is a rare gift. I hope you have the opportunity to judge for us again. Aug 5th

16 Aug 20 Comment Bunny, what a WONDERFUL image. You have handled the colors spot on and I can't believe the amount of detail you were able to bring out from both inside the door and the wood grain on the doors itself. The only addition I think you should consider is a slight vignette which would move your eye to the main feature of this image. Aug 2nd
16 Aug 20 Reply Joan, I see what you mean about both the shadow and needing a bit more room on the right. I hope to try few more of these compositions throughout the summer but will definitely try to eliminate shadows before taking the picture. Thanks! Aug 2nd

36 Aug 20 Comment Larry, I have photographed family members many times of the past 10 years but never have I seen this location in such splendor. I especially love the silky look of the water and the hint of the stars in the sky. Aug 30th
