Wow, what wonderful colors the face of this bird has! I am wondering if simplifying the background of this image would help the bird stand out more. |

I too just got an I-phone 11 for the very same reason. I don't want to totally replace my current camera but there are times and places were I find it just too heavy cumbersome to carry. I think you did a great job with this image. I especially like the way you enhanced the sky color. The texture within the image is note worthy. I agree with the suggestion of leaving more space on the top. I think it would add to a more balanced composition. |

This is a beautiful, serene image. I do love the way the fog adds to the feel. I also think that the original with more mountains in the distance and the fuller mountain reflection in the water, makes for a stronger composition and tells more of a story. I really think this is one of those images that you can try a hundred different takes on and all would be stunning. |

Straightened and cropped a bit.... Now I'm wondering if a slight sepia should be added. Any thoughts? |

Thanks for the suggestion Bunny. I always seem to have a tendency to tilt my images. I think you have it spot on. |

Mohanan, I think you did a great job of eliminating distractions and helping us to focus on the main character of the story. I am glad that you kept a hint of the spectators in the image. They add to the excitement and drama of being part of this event. If anything, I would either include all or exclude the string of lights coming from the right side of the building. |

Bunny, this is an AMAZING capture! I think you did a good job editing to get the most of the bear and the story. I'm not sure that the cropping works for me. The bear is too centered both horizontally and vertically for me. The feel of the ice line in the original gives more of a sense natural flow. The image is well worth trying different crops and landscape inclusions. |
