OK....just made final adjustments. Brightened front body, darkened distraction and darken background. What do you think? |

Thank you Dr. Mohanan. This is a great improvement. I am planning to work on this photo and put it in a local exhibition. Your suggestions and those of the other members of the group have been invaluable.

Thanks! Not many chickens in South Florida but they just may become my new passion. All that color and sassiness inspire me... |

Kathleen, you did a wonderful job of both capturing the Marmot and using editing tools. You captured the texture of the tree and animal fur while setting it off with the bokeh of the green in the background. GREAT JOB!! |

What a beautiful creature! I am wondering if you including more of the setting would improve this image. To me, the variations of color and texture complement the color and flow of the Flabellina affines. I took your original into Photoshop, selected the dark areas on the left and then adjusted them using Brightness & Contrast. I then cropped to include more color and texture of the surroundings. |

WOW.... I can't believe the difference the vertical orientation of this photo makes. In the vertical format really gives us a sense of hight and beauty of the landscape without taking away the Bighorn Sheet who is the star of the image. |

Although both of the suggestions posted are good I think Dr. Mohanan's is better since it gives us subtle a sense of where this character without distracting us from his facial expression. |

I like the color and period story of this image. I agree with Bunny, that you did a great job technically. The lights, shadows, and clarity from front to back of the image are outstanding. I think that you should have considered including the feet in their entirety, since all other complete body parts are included. I also may have added a bit on the flooring in front. |
