Great character study! Wondering if you considered turning it into a black and white image which would allow us to focus on the face without distractions from the various clothing and background colors. |

Joan, this is a WONDERFUL image! I can't think of anything that would improve on what you have already done. I feel you did a great job handling the background. I agree with Bunny, that the increase in the saturation and luminance is very effective. |

WOW, this looks like an incredible experience! You did a wonderful job capturing the texture of the sands however I think I like the original better because the main sand line is not centered. I also think that including the dune on the left adds to the image. Thanks for sharing. This image is inspirational. |

I was also drawn to the beautiful reflection pool and was wondering if the image, as it is, has too many stories to tell. I think you did a great job of bringing out the features of the building facade. Here is just a suggestion for what it might look like if you used reflection as the crowning feature of the image. |

Thanks! We were actually in a pontoon boat in Blue Cypress Lake, Vero Beach, FL where these birds nest. It gave us a great vantage point to capture them in action. I agree that sky is too gray but also feel that I wanted to tone down too blue sky was on this particular day. Maybe I will try something in between. |

This is an incredible photograph! It is clear, sharp, fascinating and colorful. The only thing that doesn't work for me is the cropping. See suggested cropping which places spider off center, at an angle and adds a but of canvas for contrast. |
