Kathleen, WOW... This image blows me away! Great job cropping and great coloring. My only suggestion would be to blur the edges of the image slightly to bring even more attention to the Mom and Pup. |

Walter, I feel that the original color is spectacular. Maybe it is because I do not live where there is a change of seasons. I also think the water wake is an interesting part of the image and that you should include more of it. Wonderful image! |

I totally agree with Kathleen's comments. I can't believe the detail you were able to pull out. I also don't see any room for improvement. Thanks for sharing! |

What a feast for the eyes this Poppy field is! I have a feeling that this image has all kinds of ways to make it come alive. I love the bits of purple which really make the oranges stand out. Here is yet another way for you to consider. Thanks for sharing! |

Great image! The frog is tack sharp front to back. I did not realize it was cement until I read your "About the Image".
I do like that you flipped this image....somehow he looks "right". I agree with Joan that the yellows and greens in the background should be less saturated (the original coloring seems much more natural). I also feel that although a boarder is needed, the color yellow does not work. I would suggest trying various colors with the image at a lighter version for the boarder and seeing which works best. |

Thank you for your comments! It is interesting that you suggested that I flip the image horizontally. I know that is the rule of thumb. I happen to be left handed and left eye dominate and I am wondering if this makes a difference in what "looks best" when considering directionality of an image. I am curious what the thoughts are about this from all members of our group. |
