WOW.... Lots of feedback! I think that working on still life set ups will be the perfect summer activity for me as the heat in South Florida rises. What I am finding interesting about this type of photography is that it really causes me to think about composition and light. It will also be a great way for me to work on my depth of field.
Thank all of you for your thought provoking feedback! |

Thank you Kathleen! The tomatoes are actually a heirloom tomato that are almost red/brown in color. Perhaps a standard bright red would have been a better choice. The red/brown is funky but what I liked about them was that they also had such a wonderful green color in them. Lots to think about.... |

Yes, I wonderful action shot. I agree with Walter's suggestion to cop out the green rock and brighten the eye. Maybe I would also clone out a few of the white foam distractions in the water behind the bird. With a few minor changes, this can be an award winning shot. |

Walter, you were able to get an amazing amount of detail in the feathers of the bird. I think your placement of the bird is spot on. The only improvement that my add to this already good image would be a little more clarity in the eye. Thanks for sharing! |

Joan, I think this is a wonderful capture of the glory days of such a theater. I do like the way you cropped this image. To me, the inclusion of the curtains adds to the sense of the era. I have never used the vertical Transform option but now that I see how it makes a huge difference in the image, I will be sure to try it. Love the coloring, feel, cropping..... I feel like I am there. Thanks for sharing! |

I think that this is an incredibly powerful image. I feel that the elements like the people in the forefront, red roof, blue mist in the mid range etc. really help define the depth of the image. I can not believe the transformation from the original to the final using a mobile program. GREAT image! Thanks for sharing. |
