I will try to bump up my f-stop the next time around to see if I can get a shaper all over image. Yes, there always is a tension between what nature gives us and how much editing should be done. 16 Feb 19 Comment Great image. I feel that Mohanan's cropping makes a vast difference in the composition. I am wondering if there may be a way of getting more definition/ variation in the sky which would take it up even a notch further. Thanks for sharing. Feb 13th
16 Feb 19 Comment Kathleen, I feel that your original image is much stronger than your edited image. In the original I love all the shades of white we see in the large jellyfish. Somehow these great variations are lost in the edited version. I applaud you for capturing the beauty of this creature. Thanks! Feb 13th
16 Feb 19 Comment Walter, this is a WONDERFUL image! The bird is sharp and the surroundings tell a wonderful story. I think your space in the front and rear of the are spot on. My only suggestion would be to remove the post in the left front which draws your eye a bit too much. I've attempted to do so using Photoshop fill - area content and the clone tool. Feb 13th

16 Feb 19 Comment I think you took a very good image and made it even better with the creative process you used. I feel that your choice and pattern of blur was key to your success. Although I like the soft irregularity of the white vignette on the bottom of the image, for some reason the side vignette seems to have much more of a defined line that may be enhanced by softening a bit.
