Thanks for the feedback. I was thinking that a double border of a thin red and wider black may help. I'm not skilled enough to figure out how to tone down parts of an image but will try to figure it out. I do agree that the two figures working should be made center to the image. |

This image is indeed all about tranquility! The slow speed you chose added to the silkiness of the water. I think the coloration of the leaves and ground behind the falls are perfect. I feel that I would like a different coloration for the water. It is a bit too green to me. I might also attempt to tone down the hot spots. This is such a great image I think tweaking it would be well worth you time. I definitely will put the Banias Waterfall on my bucket list. |

Pat, what a great image. I can't believe you captured so much texture in the feathers since it is so difficult to do in the whites. I would not change a thing in this image. Well done! |

This is an interesting composition. I do love the shadows of the trees in the water. They do seem to help spotlight the bottle. To me, the only part of the image that competes for your attention is the stick. I might tone it down or clone part of it out. Thanks for sharing! |

WOW Charissa, I think this is the capture of a lifetime! The texture of the bear's fur is incredible. If anything, I would desaturated the shrub touching his rear right quarter and selectively make other colors a bit stronger. Could you upload the original so we can get a better feel for the changes you made? So happy that you will have the chance to return to Arches. Sounds like an interesting project. |

Eleanor, I can see why you were intrigued with these ropes. Their color and texture make them "photo worthy." I do like that you used color rather than black and white since to me, it adds interest to the image. I would suggest that you crop so that you exclude the shadows and simply make the ropes themselves the star of the image. I think that Arun's adjustments with the contrast also enhance the image. |
