Thank all of you for the supportive comments. The texture throughout the image comes from the Photoshop - Filters - Stylize - Oil Paint. Larry's adjustments to the dome of the parliament building really add to the image. Learning something new every day and enjoying the challenge! |

Eleanor, this is also my favorite of,your door images. This is all about the texture, color, and sense of age. I do not mind the three spots on the left however I do wish a little more of the bottom two where included so that they could add more to the over all image. I would also like to see a frame added....perhaps red to play up the splash of red paint. Great exercise in looking at a scene from different lenses. Thanks for sharing! |

Arjun, what a wonderful capture! I think the contrast between the grayish window and the city set this image apart. It overflows with religious symbolism. I it appears crisp and clear throughout. Thank you for sharing it with us. |

WOW what a thrill! It sounds like it was your lucky day. He does do a wonderful job of blending into his surroundings. I am wondering if cropping this image or blurring the surrounding areas would help the owl stand out more. In addition, a vignette may help. |

Although we do not see the child's face, you can sense his joy by his body language. The reds of his shorts and shoes really add to making him the focal point. I am not sure of where the purple of the drops and on the ground came from. Was it actually present for a result of slowing down the water? I wonder what this image would look like in black and white with only the child in color... |

Larry, I love the color and texture of this image. I think the silhouette of the trees do a great job of leading your eye to the white house. The only thing I would consider adjusting is the amount of vignetting especially on the left side of the image. |
