I agree with both of you about the bottom claw..... When I popped my SD card for the day and looked at this image, I could not believe that I had not pulled back a bit and included it in the image..... I did in a couple of the others....but they lacked the color and clarity of this image. |

I think you have done a good job of handling all of the problems of capturing lots of whites in an image. I think that cropping out the straight like of ice at the bottom and moving the focus more to the left where more interesting curves and textures are found would help. |

Arun,
I great capture! The intensity of your blacks really add to the drama of the image. Your use of a slight boarder adds to the hold the image together. Thanks for sharing! |

This image inspires me to seek this place of great beauty and wonder. I do like the way the over saturation allows each tree to stand out. I would really like to see the original to get a better sense of what the camera saw. Perhaps a little less sky and a slight vignette would help focus the viewer. |

I agree that Arun's correction of the perspective adds to this image. The colors and textures are a wonderful thing to behold. I can easily see why you wanted to capture it. I am thinking that I would like this image to be cropped a bit less. It has such character and tells a wonderful story. |

Clarice,
I do love this image. It does tell a story which is added to by the lights and shadows within the image. I do agree with the suggestion of repositioning the rose stem. I'm not sure if seeing the entire sketched rose is important but I do think that backing away a bit would allow you to include the bottom edge of the book which would add texture and depth to your image. |

Welcome Even!!!
What a great image! I especially like the color story it tells. I think you did a good job of selecting just enough of the barbed wire to tell the story. I love the texture of the wooden planks but agree that toning them down would add it the image impact. I would also like to see your original image to get a better sense of where your selection came from.
