Charissa, I do feel that you have taken my image to the next level with the adjusted highlights and saturation. I am not familiar with Nik Color Effects Pro but will be sure to check it out. Larry, your suggestion to return on a sunny day will be placed high on my "Life List". I truly love the beauty of Sedona and would love to see experience it in the spring....

Hi Pat! I am new to your group. I also love the overall golden light throughout this image. I feel it is strong from both the composition and color standpoints. The silhouettes of the people fishing move this from just capturing a nice sunset to a great image. |

I think that the leading lines from the lighthouse to the water make this a very strong image. The sharpness of the rocks provides texture to the scene. I have mixed emotions about leaving in the telephone pole to the left of the lighthouse in the image because it seems to interrupt the flow. I also would like to see the image just a bit lighter while still taking care not to blow out the whites of the buildings. I do think this makes a very strong monochrome but would have liked you to include the color original too. |

Hi Clarissa! I am new to your group. I love how you have enhanced the brightness and sense of abstract in this image. I think including nature and buildings adds to the interest you have created. The only change I would consider is straightening the buildings so that they are as vertical as possible and then cropping off some of the buildings to the left so that it becomes a true ying - yang composition. |

Hi Eleanor! I am new to your group. I LOVE the vivid color of these flowers. Each petal is sharp which really brings the image to life. Some things I might try is retouching the bite marks on the petals of the largest flower (especially the petal that touches the center of the flower below it). I would also love to see this image cropped as a square. It think it would allow the stars of this image, the flowers themselves, to fill the viewers eye. |
