36 Jan 20 Reply I'm fairly new to Luminar 4, but as far as Sky replacement is concerned, I believe you can adjust the horizon level to match what may be in your image. I have not yet explored all possibility so cannot give you a definite answer . Jan 7th
36 Jan 20 Reply Here is a revisison of the photo as suggested. I darken shadows and add clouds to eliminate the flatness of a clear sky. The sky replacement and adjustment was done in Luminar 4. Jan 7th
36 Jan 20 Reply Thanks Larry for your keen observation. It was mid day when I got there, the wind was blowing and the sky crystal clear. I was so absorbed with this scenery that I took several shots with different composition. I like this one the most! Yes, you're right, I shouud spend more time in LR tweaking as you suggested. 36 Jan 20 Reply Thansk for your comments. Indeed it was rather windy, particuarly at this high elevation. The sky was so clear the day I got there! Jan 6th
36 Jan 20 Comment You captured a stormy sky, which is rather rare in Death Valley! The abundance of wild floiwers was a phenomenon in Death Valley years ago, attracting hordes of photographers!
Beautiful capture and composition!

36 Jan 20 Comment This image, in my opinion, is too inclusive. It has a foreground, a middleground and a background, all of equal prominence. Since the foreground attracts my eyes, I would crop it out, and part of the image to the right. I would keep the road as a leading line to the clusters of houses and later to the mountain range in the back. I add some contrast, decreased highlight and increased shadows to show some details in the mountain range, particularly the ridge lines. All done in LR Classic. Jan 6th
36 Jan 20 Comment I really like the details of the mountains, showing colors in sloping lines. The body of water is a bonus, which adds interest to the composition. A lovely landscape, there is nothing I would suggest changing! Jan 6th
36 Jan 20 Comment A very sharp capture of the night scene! The waterfront is so devoid of distraction owe to long exposure with a 10 stop ND filter! The color tone embellishes the scene as in blue hour! Very well done! Jan 6th
