I like your composition using the waves as leading lines from front to back. |

I like the composite that incudes bracketing for HDR, but since I'm not that conversant in Photoshop, I refrain from making suggestions, let alone correction. To me, the entire photo is too d.ark, there are not enough details that are typical of HDR, particularly the mountain rangesand the church/ building cluster |

The tone of the afternoon sun speaks loudly of the area: desolate, dark, sparce and empty! I think the photograph does its job, telling the viewer the harsh reality of this part of the world. That said, I would leave it as is, as I see more of a message than a photographic representation. |

I.m amazed at Luminar 4 Sky replacement! I understanad it can be done in Photoshop or other editing software but the way Luminar does is so efficient and easy. Your choice of the subject is so apt and complemenatry to the cloudful sky, turning a nonde shot into an effective visual perspective. |

Very clever use of hilights and shadows to accentuate the expanse of the palouse, a distinct geographical representation of the northwestern United States. I concur with suggestions of cropping to make the frame more attractive and interesting. Great work! |

Thank you all for your suggestions. If you look closely at the upper right hand side portion, there is the likeness of a human face, (forehead, eyes and nose) that is looking at the stream. I thought hard about cropping the way you suggested but decided to leave it as is to see if any would share my view. ALl your suggestions regarding croppingand light adjustments are nevertheless valuable.
Happy Holidays to you and your loved ones! |
