I was here just this past weekend (Oct 5) but not as lucky as you are. After spending 25 minutes driving around for a parking space, I found out that the falls, both Upper and Lower Yosemite, dried out! So I had to drive around some more and finally caught sight of the bridalveil fall which I will post next month!
I like the revised version much better: it gives vivid details of the rocks and the mist! Great work! |

Arne, you did turn an ordinary picture into an extraordinary one! I like the crop that shows outstandng details of the bridge, the water surface and reflection. The purple flower in the foreground accentuates an otherwise drab tone of the trees and vegetations surrounding the bridge. Great work! |

I look at your photo and try to determine whether it is a photo or a painting! I like it both ways, each viewpoint arouses aesthetic and artistic in its own way that would keep the eyes of the beholder on the palette!
I have no suggestions to improve since it needs no improvement, in my humbe opinion! |

This is a true test of "survival of the fittest"! I like the composition, even though it goes against most widely acceptable rules of thirds and empty space! Richard's suggestion indeed gives a better photographic rendering, from the perspective of a photographer!
I just love your capture!

Thank you Richard for your comment. No, I had to leave early (4:00AM) for the sunrise at Convict Lake the following morning! I will return to Lee Vining later on this month and hope to catch some sunset/sunrise at Mono lake. |
