99 Apr 26 Comment Julie, I like the drama of this image and think the owl is a really god addition. But I am not sure that he is in quite the right place or in the best direction. If you flipped the owl so that he was flying left to right and moved him slightly to the right so his wings did not overlap the tree on the left then it give a link to the far right 'trees' as if the owl was flying towards them and this would leave them less isolated in the frame. Just a thought. Apr 8th
99 Apr 26 Comment Kathleen, this is a great shot of someone going about their daily work and I love the look on his face. I think he realised he'd been photographed - maybe you were lucky to get away without having a fish thrown at you! This is a good candid shot and I like the composition which includes extra elements that explain this ma's story. Apr 8th
99 Apr 26 Comment Mark, this is a very dramatic image of a very 'ordinary' scene. So your techniques have worked well to achieve this. I like the stark lampposts and their shadows but find the clouds a little too lumpy but that is matter of taste. Apr 8th
99 Apr 26 Comment Robin, this is a model shot with a difference and all the better for that. A strong powerful image and I really like the threat of the dark rocks and the incoming waves. Hope the water was not too cold but I guess she'd be used to it being a life-saving instructor! Apr 8th
99 Apr 26 Comment Made, this is a lovely image. Dark but beautiful at the same time and very well composed. i agree with Robin about retaining the hint of the other shapes and grasses. Would make an excellent print. Apr 8th
99 Apr 26 Comment Barbara this is a fascinating image. Its confusing perspectives and abstract shapes make this an intriguing composition. I liked it a lot. Almost space-age too with an alien ship coming in from the top left. Apr 8th
