Yes, I think that helps bring out more detail. |

Julie.some great techniques used to create this image. You have managed this well to bring out the delicacy of the flower and the butterfly. Maybe with a little bit of dodging you could lighten up a little of the butterfly and the stem leading up to the top flower head. |

Kathleen, my first thought was 'I hope the person didn't jump"! But seriously this is a very interesting image. At first my eye goes to the right and the vast open space and the the curve of the land brings me back to the person on the ridge and in so doing you feel how tiny they really are in this rugged landscape. I did enjoy it very much. |

Mark, this is a fascinating image in which the infrared has created a multi-textured shot of the sky, the sea and the trees which has almost turned this into a painting. I like th frozen movement on the water and the v-shape in the clouds. A very interesting image. |

Robin, this is an atmospheric shot and I really like the composition with the trees leading the viewer in from the left towards the moon and then down to the sheep. The black foreground provides a slightly sinister element to the image. You might consuider removing the slight halos around the sheep but they are not too obtrusive. |

Maude I like the intensity of this image and in particular the composition with the dancer's shadow an integral part of the image. The dancer's attention to her shoes adds to the narrative of this shot as the shoes are so important in ballet. Maybe you could consider dodging in som of her costume on her legs and body to bring out a little more detail in the material. |

Barbara, I think this really conveys how cold it was. With the tree central it tends to split the picture but I think there might be other pictures to be had from this shot. If you crop it so that you lose the right hand side and have the trunk of the tree nearly on the right hand side of the frame you get a very different shot which emphasises the more delicate prances currently down on the left hand side. |

Maude, thank you for your comments. I sent Barbara a larger version of my image which she has kindly uploaded - so you should be able to see it better now. |
