Kathleen, thanks very much. It's a shot which often divides people just as the image itself is divided in two! |

Robin, yes that's interesting but for maximum effect I think she should be further back in the image and somewhat darker. |

Jurgen, is it a failure if you have created a talking point? Great artist frequently provokes discussions about small features. For me, I like the simplicity of the image and the fact that the sail disappears off somewhere else out of the image. The stark black line of the sail is the image's strong point and the delicacy of the rest provides a very nice contrast. |

Kathleen, great fun street image. Plenty of action in this image which shows people enjoying doing something ridiculous - and why not? You are bound to have people in the 'wrong' place in a shot like this so saying that the man in the street behind the bed is a distraction is pretty pointless - but if you removed him then that might be something to consider. Or maybe that would just be a tidy up too far. |

Mark, this is a powerful image of an intricate piece of architecture and cultural beliefs. You have chosen a good angle and got great depth of field. Is there a reason the first two carvings' feet are not in the image? With them might just add to the symmetry of the image. |

Robin, this is a great moody image and I think you have achieved your aim. If you wanted to one step further a darkish blurry figure inserted in the image would add even more mystery. |

Maude, I really love this. You've transformed a pretty ordinary image into something that is really interesting and witty. I think you have done exactly what you set out to do. I think the people are in just the right places and work well together. I'm intrigued to know what the woman is doing with her hands? Is she blowing a kiss? That seems obvious but if you look closely it seems she is blowing a bubble? |

Barbara, this is a well taken image requiring quite a lot of patience I expect to get it looking as good as this. The black background really helps define the bass and pouring water and the reflection provides a base for the image without which the glass would be floating. Were you pouring the steer at the same time as releasing the shutter? Or was the camera on time release? |
