Gary, I really enjoyed looking at this. It's a dramatic shot with a really profound sense of wonder created by the base of substantial rocks set against the meteor showers and distant stars. Well composed and exposed. Great. |

Kathleen, sometimes I wonder if your camera has cracks in its lens! This is another image in which the main features are the intersections of diagonal/vertical/horizontal line play a huge part. I'm not sure I like this one as much as a previous shot that you posted but the theme of lines and shadows is again very obvious. Maybe a panel of several of your similar images would work well together. They certainly break the mould of what is often considered good composition and that is often the mark of true artistry. We await the next with baited breath! |

John, at first I thought there was something wrong with my eyesight or maybe I had been drinking too much! If an image can have a slurred effect then it's certainly this one. As you say that the barn has been photographed many times, it was a good idea to apply an effect which transformed it. If it is good enough to go on your wall then that is enough of a critique. |

Robin, this is a very clever idea. You have created multiple stories here by a very simple device which works well. Once again your iPhone image shows the potential we all carry around in our pockets these days. I like the stark quality of the image. The dark bars of the window pane almost suggests imprisonment and the freedom beyond which is being denied! |

Gerard, this works really well and comes out at the viewer in almost 3D mode. The sky is almost a raging torrent of clouds and the grassy tufts stand guard as extra defences for the castle. A really dramatic image and your post processing work has really paid off. |

Barbara, these are three beautiful blooms and rendered here extremely well in mono. You have captured the delicacy of the petals very well and there is plenty of detail in both the blooms and the leaves. I would perhaps consider a very small crop in from the right to balance up the distance either side of the flowers. Very well lit. |
