Kathleen, this image at first I found very funny! Mainly because you have presented us photo of some feet but the sign says that this an example of a 'short faced bear' which incidentally I didn't know was a dinosaur - but what do I know?! But looked it up and apparently it was the fastest running bear that ever lived - so this image has been an education! Perhaps just as well they are now extinct.
As a photographic image I think the composition could be improved by cropping off quite a bit of the right even though this takes out more of the bear's shadows of his ribcage as I find those distracting in their blurred form. Or you could leave them and try to darken them to make them more obvious. But I think it would work without that side.
I have attached an example of what I mean and also how I have removed the background behind the legs - albeit not very precisely - and filled that area with the same colour as the rest of the image which makes it perhaps a little more dramatic? |

Linda, Initially I saw this as a road to nowhere. This is a very moody image with the sun, the clouds and the rippling waves. It is an image that draws you in. I enjoyed it very much and cannot suggest any changes as I feel they would perhaps remove the peacefulness which you have conveyed so well. |

Gerard, I see the horns link but also a writhing snake/reptile here. But principally yes, the plant pods have become almost metallic in appearance. The composition works well with the curved pod on the left and the middle pod reaching for the sky. As a first lightbox image this is pretty good and should you want to set against a textured background it should be easy to mask out the white but that my reduce the drama somewhat. |

Barbara, your mono flower studies are always really interesting and this one is no exception. The curve on this is very harmonious and the sepia tonight works well as does the way the flower is lit with it arriving out of darkness into full light. |
