This is the case of the lonesome pine or something else. Whatever, this works well in mono and the detail in the rocks and sky are great. It's always difficult to get the perfect angle sometimes and I think here that the merger of the lower branches of the tree with the background forest and bank take away something of the impact of this image. |

A well exposed image and you did well at that slow shutter speed. Good detail everywhere and the moon is a real bonus. I like the way the buildings almost ascend in height from left to right. |

Great shot and works well in mono. Good depth of field and composition. Could almost be a great watch advert. |

An intriguing image but I'm not sure where you were to shoot this. It's a reflection but I can't get my head around where you were standing! You must have squashed yourself pretty tightly against the mirrored wall - is that right? It certainly an unusual structure. Is the fence a security fence or just artistic? More questions than suggestions from me this time - but I did enjoy the puzzle. |

I like the simplicity of this. An interesting rural scene with a useful sloping skyline. Well exposed and with good detail on the sheep. |
