Thanks for passing by and commenting. My club has now seen this image and quite liked it and because of the positive response here I am hoping to print it up and use in competitions at some point. Happy Christmas.		 Dec 13th
17 Dec 20 Comment It would be possible to find all kinds of niggly little things to say about this image - such as the turned over flap on this guy's pocket or the slightly bright areas on his coat but what would be the point? This is a great image and full of drama. The fact that the gun does obscure some of his face is irrelevant as others have said as the look in his eyes is very clear to see as he takes aim. Every time you post one of these images you need to remember my envy for all your character shots - but keep them coming anyway! Dec 10th
17 Dec 20 Comment This is a busy shot with many distractions so in terms of composition, despite your original cropping, makes it difficult to know exactly what to look at first. But as a shot of a thriving, bustling street it certainly captures that. This is a shot full of life and a reminder of what we have left behind in 2020. Dec 10th
17 Dec 20 Comment Yes, you have done a really good job with the editing of this shot and also in taking out the people who are in the original. This would now grace any tourist poster or calendar as it really gives a good impression of the place. A Lighthouse converted by Lightroom - very appropriate! Dec 10th
17 Dec 20 Comment I like the depth in this and as others have said, the side lighting. Have thought too about what they have already said about cropping but for me I prefer the greater distance inviting the viewer to take the journey down there. Dec 10th
17 Dec 20 Comment The sky and the light on the viaduct are good. I agree about removing the post on the right and cropping some of the road. I'm OK with the mono. Dec 10th
