Thanks for the positive comments. I don't know if Max has any Coventry made pocket watches. I'll ask him. Also see my reply to Joe and a new image which almost replicates his crop suggestion. |

Thanks for this suggestion. Of all the images I took of Max and his dog, the one I put up for this group was the one I thought the strongest, But it was a close call between that one and this other one which mirror your crop but with a completely different image. Now I'm not sure which I prefer! |

Beautiful bird and composition with a diffused background. How did the bird react to the flash? |

An imposing piece of art which you have captured well. I agree with Dick about it needing completeness. I like the fog in the background but wish there was more of it creeping around the legs of the spider. And whilst you wanted the museum in the shot I would be tempten to mask it out and use this wonderful spider sculpture in some other shot. You might have some shots with more of it maybe? |

Maybe the fish stayed there a long time unless his mate or another hustling heron took it off him! Good sharp image. Might consider toning down the background grasses slightly |

A photo of our strange times. Might have preferred a slightly lower angle but this does convey a kind of menace - just where are the children?
Maybe if you go past again and there is still no one about why not set one or two of the empty seats in motion which would make it even more eerie. |

Interesting composition with the dark train contrasting with the bright lighthouse. I agree with taking out the overhead wire and might try to lighten up the front of the engine a little. I think mono suits it very well. |

Isaac, many thanks for your comments. Yes, Max is a real character but his house is a nightmare! It is filled from top to bottom, back to front with his stuff. The pictures of the cars are all the cars he has ever owned. I had to lie on the floor out of the room in the hall to take this shot! |
