17 Mar 20 Reply Thanks Joe. As you will see from my reply to Sheldon, this is a composite. The softness of the coats is a bit of a problem but the eyes are sharp. It's pretty difficult to sharpen up an alpaca's fuzzy coat without it looking strange. Interesting to see that none of you running alpacas have harnesses as they seem to do over here. Mar 10th

Thanks for that. Interesting to see what you did to it. I find they tend to look as if they are floating against the blue background so would probably substitute that for some leaves or other greenery if I go down that road.

Yes, you are right. This is a composite with the little alpaca added. On his own he was just opening his moth but I though put with the others it could look as if here was a youngster the grownups had to teach some manners to. This competition in pour club is pretty relaxed on alterations on this occasion but I suspect the judge will have different views. I will not be entering this in international Nature competitions as it clearly breaks all the rules!

17 Mar 20 Comment This takes me back to the days when as a youngster I was always a cowboy and pretended that I was in fact Roy Rogers. A very powerful image and wonderful in mono. Brilliant. Mar 10th
17 Mar 20 Comment Another image full of delightful vibrant colours. Yes, I would crop the right somewhat but leave the green wall as this gives the shot added depth. The patch of light is well handled. Have been trying to work out exactly what he is carrying on his head. Mar 10th
17 Mar 20 Comment This is a very amusing shot - almost cartoon-like. I don't think it looks over-processed because she does need to leap out at the viewer. The only thing I would suggest is to remove the distant strange blue metal construction that appears to be coming out of her rear-facing arm. Might be fun to do a composition of her from your other images with this one as the only one in focus. Mar 10th
17 Mar 20 Comment The composition is great with some good lead-in lines. But the scan seems to have achieved a kind of warped feel to the middle rocks. In its day this was probably a very acceptable image but I think it struggles somewhat when viewed on high definition screens. Mar 10th
17 Mar 20 Comment Compellin and moody image. The vibrant blue jeans are little too dominant for me and might benefit from some saturation alteration. And i might suggest doing some graffiti of your own by removing the white vertical lines in the lower middle of the image. Mar 10th
17 Mar 20 Comment A powerful reflection and well captured. I like the added colour-coordinated tram bottom right. I agree that you either need to get rid of the sky altogether or substitute it. Mar 10th
