I think the horizon in this is level as I made sure the upright posts and pole were vertical. I think the effect of a tilt may be caused by the fact that the crane is on an angle.		 Dec 8th
17 Dec 19 Comment Great shot with wonderful contrast of colours. The moisture on the leaf is particularly effective and for that reason would be loathe to crop too much or at all. Dec 5th

17 Dec 19 Comment Thanks for putting the link to the obituary in as it gave the important background for this person who is being remembered. A powerful image, well executed with good exposure and composition. Love the light in this. My only suggestion would be, depending on how appropriate you consider it - would be to suggest you alter the image on the smartphone to show the rose and thus getting rid of the reflections of the hand. 17 Dec 19 Comment Joe, I like this for the expression of speed but feel it needs cropping. I've tried both sides and in the end considered that the right hand side needs to go as far as the bridge pillar and the set of two lights. I tried to crop the left to get rid of the distracting buildings on the left but that takes out the blue light below. Love the star bursts. Dec 5th
17 Dec 19 Comment It's always fascinating to see what this kind of software does to an image. But I'm not convinced that in this case that it added to the original image which had some potential anyway. Nevertheless, it's fun to look at but I also feel that might work better cropped so that it is more of a portrait shape. Dec 5th
