Thanks for all the positive comments. The wood carver was in full flow, so it was a sharp shutter speed that froze the action. And, this is entered in my club's Open Competition this month, so let's see if the judge likes it as much as the group!! |

Splendidly 'captured' . Difficult to get decent zoo shots because of man-made things but this does it. Would agree about the lack of eye contact but the detail of the animal's coat is really well caught. |

Well taken and composed. You have a really natural feel to the water. The colour of the rock is not that in your face. Works well. Hope the guy who fell in was OK and that he didn't take his camera with him! |

Yes I think I see him. Two eyes, a nose and a mouth in the middle of the image between the two cascades of water. Good image with plenty of action and well used tree in bottom right to take you up into the waters. The force of the water is apparent in this shot. |

Interesting shapes and lines here. You almost need to replicate being there by craning your head and neck backwards to look up! Good detail in the shadows. |

I like the progression of the rocks and sky in this but think it is a little flat. Maybe try playing with the contrast or curves would give it a little more impact. |
