Thanks for your comments. I have since made the hatter's face less dramatic and cleaned up the eye in the magnifying glass. All useful suggestions

Many thanks for that advice. Do you know that although I have been using the Raw filter for some time, I have never tried the HSL module!! I f I use that I can reduce the cartoonish appearance of the Mad Hatter's face which is the main problem with this image for me. His makeup was deliberately extreme but it did make the image look very over-processed. This is one of the very good reasons for being in a critique group. Thanks again

Thanks for your comments and reply and you suggested alterations which are very helpful. Exactly which Photoshop tools did you use to do this? Was it just in Levels and then overall Saturation tool? Or did you do this using Raw Filter options>

17 Aug 19 Comment My first reaction was - just why are there strange coloured onions doing floating in the lily pond? Never mind. I like the colours in this shot but think there are probably several images here and as a whole they don't quite work together pictorially but I don't know which crop would be useful. The colours are certainly eye-catching and this must be great place to visit. Aug 5th
17 Aug 19 Comment A wonderful image, expertly captured. Well done. This is a great landscape in the first place and you have done it justice. And yes, this would make a magnificent canvas. Aug 5th
17 Aug 19 Comment A stunning display item so I can see why you had to photograph it. I guess this is meant to be four sea horses? The gold is well captured but I guess it wasn't real gold - or was it?!! Aug 5th
17 Aug 19 Comment This works very well in mono. You have chosen a good angle to get this reflection spot on. I also like the rim lighting on the mirror. The only thing I'd ask is - did you consider any adjustments to the model's skin which is not ' model smooth'? Airbrushing is a controversial subject so maybe leaving as it is was the best choice. The lighting is excellent. Aug 5th
17 Aug 19 Comment A very pleasing image and well suited to mono. Good composition. And yes, a pleasing image to display. Aug 5th
