I saw you have also posted this on Instagram. This was a challenging subject. I think the mono works well but the real problem is as you have already indicated, the shutter speed and ISO. I quite like grainy effect this has given but there is so much detail in the shot that it gets a little confusing especially with the blurred motion. I also think that the boxer appears to have only one leg because of his stance - even though it's also clear that he doesn't!. But his eye focus on the bag is good. Sorry if this appears a bit negative. |

Stained windows are difficult to photograph and you have managed this here very well. The intricate work of these windows is brilliantly shown here. Yes, the lack of the vegetation on the far right does throw it off balance slightly so if you wanted to it would be possible to copy and flip the left hand side over to the right to complete it. |

Udayan, this is a great shot which I liked a lot. The interaction here is wonderful and the colours vibrant and eye-catching without being overwhelming. I think Joe's crop is a good idea but would not take so much off the left hand side. The padlock does draw the eye though and I would suggest replacing its white surface with something more subdued. Your images of everyday life are really special - keep them coming. |

Hope you didn't suffer any other losses. Losing your photographic equipment is bad enough.
This is a really good shot and very sharp for 1/30 sec. Wonderful pose and good depth of field. I might just remove the very faint grass stems creeping up from the base - but that's just a nitpick! |

A great shot of one of these characters. You are right about the possibility of him stalking you as there is no getting away from it - these steampunks just love being photographed! You have managed very well here to capture this chap in glasses - always a difficult problem. Good skin tones and expression. Is that a crack in his left lens? There is a line going across his eye that might be removed. Also the symbol/motif around his hat are very white and may be blown out. The one above the buckle draws the eye somewhat and could even be removed without taking anything away from the shot. Hope to see more of these in due course. |

These statues are always intriguing and like you I take them but never know where or when I might use them in another image. But this one stands on its own and is particularly impressive set against the background blossom. A contrast of delicacy and robust strength. Joe's extra treatment adds to the original. |
