Hello Everyone
Many thanks for all the advice given on my image. I have revisited it and used a rather different background that was already pretty mysterious and so I have not needed to overlap two images to get an effect. I have also made the face less obvious so hopefully it will appear more ghostly or softer. I tried it in mono but it didn't work for me. I may enter it in a few competitions and see what happens. It also prints up quite nicely. |

Dick, thanks for this yes.
I know what I have created here is what we would call over here a 'Marmite' image - you'll either like it or hate it. Maybe it was just me trying to create something out of nothing or at least trying to save two images that really don't work independently = or even together! |

Many thanks for the comments. Yes, a tighter crop might improve it. The branch duplication is deliberate as the idea is that this is some kind of supernatural event and the intention is for the viewer to be uncertain of what they are seeing! Perhaps not always a good motive when creating an image!! |

Much better with their hands locked together. |

Great. I really like this even if the colour is so overpowering. I wouldn't crop off the hanging wire as I think that gives important information about this place. There are possibly two or three images here - all interesting. My only suggestion is that you might consider lightening the face of the figure in the doorway - but not too much! Keep these images coming . |

Once again, beautiful capture. But, why have you left in that leaf top left?! Have we found a flaw in your generally immaculate compositions?!
Seriously, if that's all I can find to say then it's pretty pathetic. A great image again Glenn. The colours are fantastic, the eye very sharp. My only questions are what is this bird and how big is it? |

A very 'busy' shot but it captures the moment very well. You actually need the mess of the end of the race to give this context. You have done well to bring out the background detail considering the lighting conditions. I guess you weighed up the advantages of a darker background throwing more emphasis on the two main riders. Being picky I might crop off the lady on the left as we don't need to see her as she draws the eye and there are enough people in the shot anyway. |

Powerful image. Possibly something in the foreground to give a sense of scale would have helped but probably that was not an option. |

I am clueless about this sport but can appreciate and understand this image. You have 'caught' this just right. The light, as you say, was perfect and I also like the background - dark enough but also light enough to see the crowd. Is that their coach in the background with his hands in his pockets? Great action shot. |

Nice result. It's always interesting to see what happens to images when you experiment like this. You could build up an exciting pattern picture from all kinds of subjects and create a fascinating abstract. |
