Joe, thanks for the comments and suggestion. I may well try mono with this. The point behind this image though was the fact that there is no precision and the attention to detail is slipshod. This guy didn't care and for me that made the image.
I did have an alternative title about America being great again (or not)but felt easier with 'Still flying the flag'. In many ways the image is meant as a wind-up and meant to cause a reaction one way or the other. |

This is a great shot. The angle is just right and the lighting is very good. Was this animal behind glass? If it was then this an extra better shot. I'm not sure about how sharp it is on my monitor but I think if you have resisted the temptation to sharpen it you made the right decision. In my opinion animals with fur like this are not sharp in reality so to over sharpen can give a false impression. On the other hand this is always my excuse when trying to get an image of a squirrel which for me are never sharp!

Superb as always. The texture of the feathers is beautifully caught. Beauty is certainly in the eye of the beholder and this bird doesn't disappoint me. |

I love this and what you have done with it. The colours are very bright but that's how it probably was. But the blue is slightly overpowering. Might you try reducing either the blue saturation or vibrance to see if that alters it so the blue is not so dominant? |

Goodness, that red rock is really red! You can see why it's called Valley of Fire. What's the temperature out there? There's enough sky in it for me. A dramatic shot. |

A real moody image and very good technique. For me the barge merge onto the further shore makes that part of the image less clear. Great clouds. |

John, this is a great shot and the mono works very well. No distractions and the formation is beautifully caught. A magic odd number too. |
