Beautiful shot. Apart from the bird I also like the branch it's sitting on. I know 'bird on a stick' is a derisory comment made by non-wildlife photographers like myself but on this occasion both bird and stick are exceptional! Well done. |

A warm welcome to our group. This is a strong image full of character and personality. I hope she saw your shot. Joe's work on the image has brought out more of this subject and just shows how invaluable another set of eyes can be on an image which you may think has gone as far as it could. You were right to convert it to mono and crop it as you have. I look forward to seeing more of your images especially as I take mainly images of people.

Sheldon, I think the version without the vignette works better. I don't mind not seeing all of the third zebra. A clear uncluttered shot. Well done. |

A powerful shot of this animal in its natural environment. I think the definition on the goat is fine. My only issue is with the deep blue of the background which is very dominant but maybe unavoidable. Interesting to see the animal at this stage of its cycle. Very unusual. |

A sleek machine well captured. Who can keep a car that clean?! |

The ordinary made extraordinary always makes a great subject. Interesting dabs of colour. Well spotted! |
