Wow! Great shot and excellent techniques. The catch light from the flash in the bat's eye is just great. And I love the sharpness of the claws on its feet. What draws the bat to this particular flower? Definitely one for competitions. |

I agree you just had to take this and I enjoyed the humour of the shot. But perhaps what it really needs is another set of legs - real ones - in-between these stools. It would be very easy to do and would tell more of a story |

This certainly has impact. However, I think you have too much of it in the images. I would crop some of the top to where the central lights break. I would also remove the pink area bottom middle right which is a little distracting. I like the figures either side moving their suitcases but you might consider bring them back top a little as Joe suggests. |

I agree with all the other comments but would add that a shot like this would probably be better used in a panel of images - showing perhaps the outside of the shop and one or two closeups of customers or smaller displays in the shop. That way it would tell a fuller story. As it is there is plenty to look at and the technique is fine but it is very busy - perhaps even cropping to the central display shelves might help. |

This certainly stands out and as others have said would make a very good calendar or local magazine shot. The shaded patch in the foreground helps reduce the somewhat very bright colour of the sky. |

An interesting shot. Makes a comment about what man does to his environment - very topical. Amazing that this was near a bird sanctuary. |

Thanks for the comments. Much appreciated.
The shell-like sea defences can be seen through the barbed wire just below the horizon level in the shot. There is a row of them that go across the river. Probably I should have tried a composite shot of different focal points to get complete sharpness back to front. |
