Very well captured and exposed. The colours are wonderful and look almost painted on. But like Dick I have seen many similar shots and the difficulty is in finding something different to show with subjects of this kind. Having said that I respect photographers with the patience to get and create these kind of images - I know I could not do it. I look forward to seeing some of your other shots from this trip. |

Yes, she is wonderful and the hair over the eye makes this a far more natural image. Like you I don't mind the softness of the other eye because this was a moment caught. Soft images for this kind of subject are often appropriate as in this case. |

Great shot and the eyes say everything. They certainly hold you. Good depth of field renders the image sharp from back to front. Not so sure about your title but I can see where you are coming from - or in this case came from! |

An interesting and for me an unusual subject. I can't think of one of these in the UK. Good reflections and framing of the subject. |

This is one of those shots that often raises the comment 'why'? The answer is generally 'why not?' This is an image which aesthetically relies on an appreciation of form, shape and detail. It doesn't have to tell the whole story which is for the viewer to discover individually. Good choice to render it in mono to add to the period feel of the image. |
