Nice composition, well seen. I personally would not crop off the top half of the tree line, as I find the upper two thirds of the image the area of greatest interest, anchored by the rocks on the bottom right. I played with making a 16x9 and cropping off from the bottom. A subjective call.
I looked at this earlier in the week and wanted to come back to it fresh. My initial reaction is that it was bright almost to the point of looking brittle. I am not sure what you actually saw with the natural light and winter weather and how much was enhanced during processing. Attached is a quick and dirty edit including the alternate crop. |

Impact rates a 10/10. Great composition and exposure. I too would crop down the top a bit. I think your monochromatic color version is more dramatic. |

Good composition, Arne. You convey the interesting character of the tree, and the lighting on it works really well. The look and feel of the tree line and glacier in the background left adds nicely to the composition. My first thought to improve as soon as I viewed the image was the same as Michael's, I would darken the parking lot to eliminate the reflected light and the dark ghosts along the lower edge. That aside, a pleasing image. |

Good catch, is the type of image that would be an add to a detailed trip highlights album. If I were to use as such, I would crop it down to focus on the elements of interest. |
