Thanks, I like your suggestions and planned to go back in and spend more time with this image. In a bit of a hurry this month as I am off on a trip tomorrow starting in Lithuania and ending up in Denmark five countries later. |

What a fun image, Michael! It certainly grabs attention and holds the eye while digesting more of the scene.
I tightened up the crop on the left, bottom, and right. I personally felt distracted by the man in red jacket and two street lights on the left, felt the bottom didn't add to the composition below the peoples' reflections, and eliminated a bit of grey sky at the top above the edge of the building in fog.
I would not lighten up the people, if anything I would tone down the pink scarf and white hats in the middle (did not have time to try). The thing I love most about this image is the contrast between the distinct colorful video image versus all the other muted elements (people, building, reflections, and weather). |

I only suggested taking out the partial lily pad at the bottom edge of the photo, as it competes with the reflected spire for attention. I like the rest of them in the shot. |

Nice composition with a great curving leading line and placement of the lighthouse. I tightened up the crop a little bit to focus on the elements of interest. Agree with Richard and Hattie's suggestions as well, though I would go easier on the vignette.
If you ever wanted to retake this same composition for printing (assuming you have the opportunity), I think the time of day where the light is coming from the right might provide you an even more interesting result. |

Hattie, nice study on how to capture an image of something interesting in a difficult environment. I would take it a bit further and crop out more of the drab sky and some of the distracting bright items on the middle left edge of the image. This cut of your image nicely reveals the mystery of what the tower looks like above the platform in the reflection. You also might want to clone out the partial lily pad on the bottom. |

Nice capture that evokes the mood of the scene and hour. Good positioning with the rocks leading into the edge of the surf which leads into the setting sun. You didn't mention shutter speed, but in this context the waves are just right for my taste in the spectrum between cottony and frozen.
The only suggestion I would try would be to tone down the brightness of the sun at the point of the peninsula a little, so it doesn't pull the eye so quickly from the foreground. |
