Good composition of a lovely scene, it makes me want to go there. The glare off the water on the left hand side distracts the eye. A circular polarizer might have been of benefit in this situation. I think this crop to 8.5 x 11 and pulling down the Highlights makes all the other great elements of your image pop. |

Nice composition with the four boats in foreground lined up diagonally and the moody skies. The partial boat on the right and some of the light items along the left edge distracted my eye from the four boats and sky, so I pulled in the edges, which also reduced the amount of sky and water somewhat. You also had a lot of space on the right side of the histogram, so I moved the White slider out to create more contrast. |

Gorgeous photo. You have wonderful converging lines from left to right tracing the top of the building (and its reflection), tree tops, and the blue arch that suddenly get interrupted by the big pole that dominates the right edge. What do you think of this crop to 8.5 x 11? |

Richard, I love the sharp detail of the dominant black peak and the contrast with the jagged light background peaks, but I was distracted by the second dark peak on the left. I did a quick crop to a 1x1 to focus on what I think made this image so powerful. |
