Group Round C/R Comment Date Image
25 Feb 18 Reply Thanks, Marla. I will definitely look to darken the bright areas. I wish I had that hand back, but I got the moment - yes, this will be going in an album! =) Thank you for the feedback! Feb 28th
25 Feb 18 Reply Thank you, Ruth. This is definitely a keeper for an album. =) Feb 28th
25 Feb 18 Reply Thank you, Eric. I really like this image for his expression - sums up my little man. I'll try your suggestions next chance I have to attempt another edit of this. Feb 28th
25 Feb 18 Comment I have to say, like the others, the amount of detail is fantastic, especially at that distance! The crop above the subject's head feels a little tight, but I have nothing else to add except nice job! Beautiful image. Feb 28th
25 Feb 18 Comment I don't have anything additional to add to everyone else's comments. I agree with Eric's inputs, and also Audrey about keeping a rectangular format - that it helps work with the water's edge. Feb 28th
25 Feb 18 Comment I had a similar reaction as Audrey. I kept looking around at the various shadows (maybe that just the photographer in me!). Did you do HDR? I'm amazed at the brightness within the nave and around the various figures. Feb 28th
25 Feb 18 Comment I will repeat what Eric and Marla commented on - my first thought was to add a vignette as well. Great eye contact with the subject and catch lights in both the dog and bear. I believe a tighter and square crop would make this image stronger. Feb 28th
25 Feb 18 Comment I agree with the others and want to repeat that the little boy staring back at you absolutely MAKES this image. I would also recommend burning the hand on the side of the car a bit too...it's brightness keeps grabbing my attention. Feb 28th
25 Feb 18 Comment I, too, agree with your choice to rotate the image - much better composition. I agree with all of Eric's inputs as well. His cropping helps to focus the image on the subject and remove the distractions. I found the grate below the butterfly particularly distracting. Wonderful capture - I can't imagine how you were able to get that close with an iPhone! Feb 28th
25 Feb 18 Reply Thank you for the suggestion and visual feedback. That crop is a little tight for my taste, but I definitely agree that it helps remove the distracting brightness of the background. I'll try to darken it next chance I have to edit it. Feb 22nd
25 Feb 18 Reply Yep, that hand is monstrous!! I also wish I hadn't severed his other one at the wrist. Thank you for the feedback. Feb 22nd
25 Feb 18 Reply Thank you for the feedback. That stem in front of his mouth does bother me. I kind of like that some of the leaf in front of his face...gives some depth, but that stem is definitely bothersome. I'll try to remove it nextchance I get to edit it. Feb 22nd
